The right-hand door features the original working lock, with a working key. All internal door locking catches are present and in good working condition. The doors open to reveal three storage compartments on the right-hand side and a full-length handing rail, retaining the original sliding metal hooks on the left-hand side. This Art Deco wardrobe sits on the original elegant splayed plinth. This is a single piece Art Deco wardrobe, with favourable proportions, which enable it to be carried easily into the bedroom.

This is fine quality antique English Art Deco wardrobe, circa 1930, featuring stunning burr walnut doors, in excellent original condition. The Art Deco wardrobe has been cleaned and traditionally French polished by hand to a professional standard in our workshop, therefore the patination and colour of an excellent standard. Nominal old use marks to the leading external edges, sides and interior, but nothing significant considering the age of the item. All internal door locking catches are present and in good working condition. The Art Deco wardrobe retains its original chrome and Bakelite handles and splayed plinth. The door lock is original and in working condition, with a working key. The metal shoe bar at the bottom of the Art Deco wardrobe (below the hanging rail) is present. There are no splits to the doors and they close flush to the frame. The interior is clean and the wardrobe is solid in joint and ready to use.
