Henry D'Arcy Hart (1866-1938) was a London painter who abandoned a career as a barrister to become a successful flower painter. He studied at the Slade and exhibited widely at NEAC, RA, Beaux Arts Gallery and Baillie Gallery, London.

"Anemones" is an oil on canvas measuring 16"x 10". It is signed lower left and is framed in a gilt frame giving an overall size of 21"x 16".
