Description

A good Old Sheffield Plated lidded tankard dating to the early 19th Century. No makers marks but visibly seamed with a fine turned wooden base.

The condition is good overall but has the expected age related wear and a couple of small dents and copper bleed to the raised edges. It has also, at some point in its history, has lost its thumb piece. It has a very clean interior.

Weight approx 640g.

Height approx 19.5cm

Total span approx 16cm.
