An Edwardian Club Cigar Smoker's Stand C.1900

1900 - 1920
Description

Plated steel and brass, in a style popularised by Liberty and Co. blending Art Nouveau and Middle Eastern elements. Can be disassembled into: brass cigar rest; cut-glass tray; tulip-banded collar and brass threaded shaft connecting to a sand-fillded base. The underside stamped Metawa, Holland.

Condition: tiny chip to glass below cigar rest, some dents to the base
