Large scale 18th Century George III sofa with paint and gilt. Having an elegantly shaped frame with manchette elbow pads on the arms. Three large feather filled seat cushions. Raised on four square tapering legs with toupie feet to the front and four splayed legs to the back.
This fine sofa would have had an important place in a grand country house drawing-room.
