Montgomeryshire Oak Dresser

A richly coloured and superbly patinated low dresser of substantial form, the twin plank top with a trio of dowelled biscuit tenons above three drawers, thickly crossbanded in fruitwood and with cockbeaded edges, the cockbeading repeated on the ogee-arched frieze.
 
The substantial ring and baluster turned legs, extending to turned toes, are joined by a planked potboard. The brassware is replaced but closely following the design of the original.
