Superb Antique Victorian 5ft Queen Size Brass Bed C1880 Wdb5015/7.9

Description

Lovely antique victorian brass queen size

Bedstead dating from aorund 1880 and which in the recent past has been fully restored. Both the head and foot boards are the same with inverted swept top rails above vertical brass slats and with the footboard having the attractive feature of a central brass geometric panel. All four posts are topped with architectural style knobs and it stands on castors with drop in side irons.

In very good condition and we must say that the photographs do not do this beautiful bed justice.

Measures: 57" high to headboard X 45" high to footboard X 80" long X 60" wide and takes a 5ft matress.
