Georgian period, mahogany inlaid and crossbanded straight front chest of drawers, Circa 1780. This chest of drawers with oblong shaped top with crossbanded border and moulded edge. Over bank of drawers configured 2 small drawers over 3 full width drawers, all graduated in height, with cock-beaded edges, strung inlaid border on the front, original brass double swan neck pull handles, original brass escutcheons, locks and working key. All raised on bracket feet.

A good quality chest of drawers, fully functional and ready to use.

This chest of drawers measures approximately 100 cm (39.5") tall, 109 cm (43") wide, and 54 cm (21.5") deep.

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This chest of drawers is in a reasonably good condition, commensurate with its age, and is structurally very sound and sturdy. Some small marks and blemishes. Few good quality repairs. Odd cock-beading losses, and chips. Front a little faded. Original handles, escutcheons, and locks. In good working order, very serviceable and ready to use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
