Bedsteads has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The frame has been shot blasted prior to primer and hand finish in Farrow and Ball paint company Hague Blue with gold highlights on castings to bring out the definition and waxed to secure. Naturally aged brass has been lightly cleaned to preserve.
