Shaun King Antiques has dated this piece to the 1890s.
It would make the pastry sides of the pie look

amazing.
The original tinned finish is still visible on the outside.
One of the fixing pins, to the MOULD without the base, has lost its top hook so needs easing out with pliers.
The MOULD which retains its original base does not appear to have been opened for a very long time but, I am assuming, with gentle easing the MOULD will dismantle as it should. The fixing pins come out quite easily.

There is one pin prick hole to the vein of one leaf.
An exciting and rare find.
