Georgian Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
Beneath this a large secretaire drawer with shaped cut-out and recessed copper back plates, with five further full-length graduating drawers beneath. The two side doors with two panels of leather glass at the top rectangular and geometric panels at the bottom open to un-interrupted interior, the whole piece stands on an ogee shaped enclosed plinth.
