Fine quality 19th century Tibetan bronze temple lion,c1880. Nicely cast, it is heavy for its size (nearly 2 kg) and has fine detail to the face, tail, claws, body etc . The body is decorated in a traditional style and it has acquired great colour//patina .It is presented in a sitting and howling style which is unusual.
