Antique Regency Flamed Mahogany Campaign Wardrobe Armoire C1800 Wdb240/22.7

Description

Antique regency flamed mahogany campaign wardrobe armoire and dating form aorund 1800. This lovely wardrobe completely dismantles and would have been used by an officer of the military during campaigns. It has a cornice top with deep crossbanded frieze above two panelled doors with flamed mahogany panels and two short and one long false drawer front (the clothes fall behind these) and with one long drawer to the base which is oak lined and all original brass handles. It stands on splayed bracket feet joined by a shaped frieze.

Internally there is a hanging rail and mahogany clothes pegs.

The whole wardrobe breaks down into seven pieces for ease of transporting.

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the mahogany oozing the charm and character of the period.

Measures: 83" high X 22" deep X 19" internal depth X 54" wide
