An elegant and imposing Edwardian sideboard of excellent
quality.
c.1900.
All supported by ionic columns.
The base of the sideboard has three drawers with the central drawer having a compartmented interior for cutlery etc. Below the drawers are three shelved cupboards. The central cupboard door is particularly lovely having a beautifully carved front with fruit, floral motifs and scrolling designs in relief, which are of high quality and craftsmanship. The original and very ornate heavy brass handles are all present on the drawers and doors.
Standing on a shaped plinth with large sturdy bracket feet.
Lovely figuring to the oak with a good, rich, golden light oak colour.
Overall a very imposing and impressive piece of exceptional quality.
In excellent antique condition, minor marks to the base top, shown in the pictures.
