Antique Victorian Satin Walnut Queen Side Bedstead C1880 Wdb4889/7.7

Description

This is a stunning victorian satin walnut queen size bedstead and dating from aorund 1880. In recent years it has been fully restored with a beautiful waxed finish and complete with slatted base. It has turned and block bedposts topped with turned finials with a serpentine shaped headboard with moulded panel and the footboard having a serpentine shaped top rail above a carved crest and moulded panel. It has a shaped frieze to the base and stands on bun feet. There are two small mahogany panels to the each end of the bottom panel.

An absolutely stunning bedstead in very good condition with a lovely deep colour to the satin walnut.

Measures: 46" high to headboard X 43" high to footboard X 82" long X 60" wide

Takes a standard queen size matress (this is the size between a double and a king).
