Description

Quality antique edwardian mahogany double bedstead and dating from around 1900. Both head and footboard are the same with serpentine shaped top rails with fine inlaid stringing above a central panel finely inlaid with swags and tails and with squared supports to either side. It has its original screw in side irons and stands on squared and tapering legs.

In very good condition and with a deep colour and patination to the quaity mahogany oozing the charm and character of the edwardian period.

Measures: 55" high to headboard X 41" high to footboard X 81" long X 54" wide

Takes a standard double matress
