Antique Spanish Toleware and Wooden Altar Stand Decoration

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a beautiful late 19th century Spanish Toleware altar stand in the classic colour palette dating from around 1900. The pierced embossed and tooled metal design is of an urn issuing flowers and leaves in reds green and gold with a central torch and shield motif. The metalware is mounted on a stained pinewood stand that is in excellent order.

A very nice original piece in superb clean condition.

The stand has good decorative appeal measuring 65 cms high by 32 cms wide and 8 cms deep.
