Description

Comical brass duck sculpture by Karl Hagenauer (1898 - 1956).

Werkstatte Hagenauer Wien (wHw) was a family business in Vienna, founded by Carl Hagenauer in 1898. After his death in 1928 his sons Karl and Franz both became renowned designers.

This delightful little duck is 5cm tall and weighs 41g. Stamped wHw - made in Vienna, Austria. Very good vintage condition.
