A very decorative and unusual pierced and shaped copper stand. The stand is wonderfully shaped in a baroque style with bold scrollwork. The stand was obviously for display, possibly in a shop or it does have the slight look of a clock stand. It could also, with it being in copper have a culinary use. The piece is certainly nineteenth century in date and possibly eighteenth century.
