Description

Circa 1920, rare pair of George III style mahogany wardrobes. Surmounted by moulded cornices with fine ropework detail over a crossbanded frieze in flame mahogany. The twin doors, each with shaped flame mahogany panels, are above a central panel with relief c-scrolls and flowerheads carvings. The all-hanging interiors with drawers and shelves below, all over moulded bases on acanthus carved, bold ogee bracket feet.
