This is a late 19th century French bronze sculpture by Auguste Nicolas Cain (French 1822-1894). It depicts a rooster standing atop a basket marked ''A. CAIN'', stamped to the rear of the basket ''SUSSE FRE'' for the French foundry Susse Freres. It is on a circular base and has a gilded patina.
It is in good general condition with wear commensurate with age.
All items come with free shipping throughout the UK. They will be sent using a recorded or signed for service such as Royal Mail's Special Delivery.
