Longwy Faience Enamelled Plate and Vase

Description

Smooth dramatic contrast is presented in this french Longway vase and plate. Inspired by Turkish and Persian designs, Amédée de Caranza brought over his interests and the Longwy-style cloisonné enamelling technique to the Jules Viellard Bordeaux firm.
