Regency Mahogany Gentleman’s Breakfront Linen Press Wardrobe

A superb quality and impressive Regency breakfront flame mahogany gentleman’s linen press wardrobe dating to circa 1820 and attributable to Gillows of Lancaster. Featuring a stepped moulded cornice above a pair of projecting fielded panelled cupboard doors with brass moulding and enclosing six original sliding trays (which can be removed to create another hanging space). With a decorative horizontal reeded moulding running across the full width and two short and two long cockbeaded drawers below, all with brass handles and flanked by a pair of double panelled cupboard doors enclosing full length hanging spaces AND also provided with all the shelves to fully shelve the sides, all doors decorated with ebonised quadrant mouldings and ebonised cockbeading to the drawers, raised on plinth base.
