Description

A good pair of Regency toleware chestnut urns and covers in a rich deep red with black silhouette style chinoiserie decoration. The pair are well proportioned with a good colour and texture and attractive lion ring mask handles and acorn finials to the lids. The shape and patina are both good and the pair are a nice weight. Circa 1840

A very elegant pair in a really desirable colour very rare to find.
