A good Bronze of a Heron by the famous French ‘animalier’ Henri Jacquemart (1824-1896). It depicts a Heron with wings outstretched walking through reeds and other vegetation with a frog in its beak.

Fully signed to the base, this is a superb bronze with good definition and fine detail.
