Description

Unusually large antique French Louis XV armoire in lovely condition.

It is made of walnut but has been painted an off white and lightly distressed.

It has a hanging rail with shelf above and 2 drawers at the base. Most antique armoires in this style are too narrow to hang clothes properly. This one is plenty deep enough.

It has its beautiful, heavy original bevelled glass doors, with light speckles/foxing in places, mostly to the left door. I love this as it shows it is antique. There are no scratches to the glass.

It has a very large, unusual, hand carved ornate crest with shells and flowers. It also has beautiful carving to its feet.

It has a working key.
