Unusual 19th Century Brass Parrot Ring Holder

Description

Fine quality, heavy, mid 19th century brass ring holder in the form of a parrot sitting on a perch. The base is a spun heavy duty tray with moulded edge, there is a nice turned support and then the parrot. The parrots head is hinged with a compartment inside. This is a really nice, novelty item in brass, it would grace any Ladies dressing table (as long as you like birds I suppose).
