A delightful 4 foot 6inch wide four poster bed constructed from two genuine 18th century mahogany foot posts, beautifully reeded and carved and joined to the original foot board. The upper frame and headboard are added to complete the bed, meaning it is possible for it to sit astride a standard modern double divan bed and no need for a very expensive bespoke-made four poster mattress and base.The price is for the 4 posts, upper frame including cornice, headboard and all upholstery shown in the photo. (Just needs a standard modern divan bed). It has been dismantled for transport into the pieces shown, but can be easily reconstructed. Please note that all the curtains, tie-backs, drapes, pelmets and bedspread are all included in the price, but old with signs of age and slight discolouration but perfectly usable with the possible exception of the bedspread which is torn and frayed down one side.Height is 223cm (87.8inches)
