A masterful and charming depiction of a little little girl holding her skipping robe. Exquisitely portrayed, we see a quiet resolve and just a hint of mischief in her eyes.

Dating from circa 1890, the drawing is heightened with watercolour and is signed at the lower left, but I have not been able to decipher the signature.

Oval in shape with some light toning, the artwork measures 23 x 17 cm. The overall framed size in an elegant frame is 35 x 29 cm.
