Description

Superb Antique Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany King Size Bed and dating from around 1900. ConstRucted from quality mahogany it has a deep moulded top rail with satinwood inlaid stringing above seventeen reeded slatted supports and mahogany panel. The footboard has a serpentine shaped top rail with inlaid stringing above seventeen reeded slatted supports on a semi circular panelled base with fine inlaid stringing. It has its original screw in side rails and takes a standard king size mattress.
MEASURES: 54” HIGH TO HEADBOARD X 32” HOGH TO FOOTBOARD X 60” WIDE X 80” LONG
With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
