Antique late 19th century gilt bronze Sino -Tibetan statue of Buddha,c1890. This is a large fine quality example, weighing in at nearly 4 kg. The casting is good with fine detailing to the face, hands, feet etc. There are character marks to the reverse. It has aged well with great patina from many years of handling. Overall condition is good with only minor surface wear / rubbing/ Verdigris marking etc. There are small areas of loss to the gilt ,all exactly as you would expect from a piece of this age.
