Gilt bronze bust of Marie Antoinette or Madame Barry, French, circa 1890.
Signed on the sockle Halonzo, probably an encription for D Alonzo (Dominique Alonzo)
Mounted on a black and white marble and blue john plinth.
The bronze in excellent condition,
the plinth with some chips and repairs and signs of being re assembled, still good, sound and presentable.
The blue john block of typical form with natural fissures, joints and infill.
Height 10'' or 255mm, weight 2412 grams.
