This charming GILT METAL GOTHIC COTTAGE ORNE ornament dates from circa 1840.

It depicts the story of the BEARS AND THE BEES.

There is a lot of detail in the casting, especially the tall SUNFLOWER to the left of the GOTHIC WINDOW and the tiled roof of the COTTAGE.

The ornament is in good condition with no breaks or repairs.

Height: 8.5 inches (21.5 cm)
