Biedermeier Flame Mahogany Chest of Drawers Circa 1840

Description

Exceptional Biedermeier chest of drawers in beautiful mainly quarter veneered Cuban flame mahogany of great colour & patination. Fabulous varied shape drawer fronts give an interesting character appearance typical of its period. Three full length graduated drawers below shaped & stepped top, front turned bun feet and rear block feet.

All three drawers have working locks (but only one key at present). Original condition ( see pictures for minor veneer chips).

Compact, neat & useful size chest of real quality.
