In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
It is a traditional shape with deep buttoned back and scrolling arms with two cushions.
The upholstery is not new but is excellent quality and is generally clean and tidy. There is a small scuff on the bottom of the back and a couple of loose buttons on the front but otherwise no major marks or tears and it displays well.
The sofa is in good condition for its age and is very comfortable. There are some general marks and small knocks around the legs but nothing detrimental. The frame is solid and in good condition.
