Superb Antique French Walnut & Gilt 19th Century Queen Sized Double Bed C1890 Wdb4674/28.4

Description

This is a superb antique french walnut late 19th century queen sized double bedstead and dating form around 1890/1900 it has a shaped top to the headboard with pierced gilt mounts to each side and with a stunning gilt mounted eagle to the centre. This is above a walnut panel that has satinwood cross banding and ebony strining to the edges. It has a triple panelled bowed footboard with satinwood crossbanding and ebiny stringing and it stands on turned tulip legs. It has walnut screw in sides and comes with a modern drop in base.

Takes a 5ft matress.

In very good condition and very impressive with a lovely deep colour and patination to the walnut and separates for ease of transporting.

Measures: 60" high headboard X 34" footboard X 82" long X 60" wide
