An early 19th century English painting of a graceful young lady , dressed in a red velvet off the shoulder dress with lace cuffs . She is holding a flower to her chest . In the background are some interior soft furnishings with tassels and a stone arched window with lattice lead detail.

On the back of the frame is a label saying

Elizabeth Mumby

Nee Buckeridge 1824

To the bottom of the back of frame another older style hand written label saying

Eliza Mumby. ( buckeridge). My fathers sister.

The painting is in original untouched condition.
