The cornice is moulded above two panelled cupboard doors and two lower drawers with mahogany crossbanded edges and oval brass handles. The interior comprises of a later hanging rail and some later removable base boards. The oak on this wonderful antique wardrobe has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
