Large 19th Century Brass Bound Copper Boiling Pot

Description

Dating from the late Victorian period a large copper and brass bound boiling pot with iron handle.

An essential item in the Victorian kitchen, one can imagine delicious smells whilst vast quantities of soups etc were being prepared in this traditional pot.

The condition is good bearing in mind this was not a decorative object in its earlier life but filled with logs or foliage can be so in its retirement.
