Of ancient wine Krater form with turned circular socle feet , reeded stems ,and gadrooned lower bodies below friezes depicting cavorting cherub figures celebrating the grape and wine harvest , the cult of Bacchus , god of wine . The mask handles decorated with grapes and vine decoration .
The vases mounted on integrally-stepped ‘verde antico’ green marble plinth bases.
Good consistent dark patination with no damage or losses.
