Fabulous Bronze French Bulldog Circa 1910

1900 - 1920
Description

A fabulous finely cast antique bronze sculpture of a French Bulldog. The sculpture stands in typical bulldog stance. He wears a collar with a moveable bell dangling. Beautifully executed, the detail is superb and is a very realistic representation, including the wonderful face, fur, muscular legs and paws. Great patination and in lovely condition. Dated circa 1910. Lovely proportions (length: 8 cm) and a good heavy weight, he stands nice and sturdy.

An exceptional small bronze, wonderful gift for a dog lover - especially of French Bulldogs!

Measurements: Length: 8cm Height: 6.4 cm Depth: 2.8 cm Weight: 234 grams
