Fine antique 19th century Japanese bronze box, c 1890. It is beautifully cast in the form of a fan,with the lid hinged at the base to reveal a void interior. The top is highly decorated with traditional Japanese figures etc and the base has a character mark. It has aged well with great colour / patina.Overall condition is good with only minor wear / rubbing in line with age and use.
