A fine Gordon Russell burr elm and black walnut compactum wardrobe dated 1937 . The handles hinges and metalwork in cast chrome .. the whole piece beautifully made and finished .

Provenance : Commissioned from Gordon Russell in 1937 by James Archdale Esq and invoiced at a cost of £72 and 10 shillings on the 19th of October 1937 and by direct descent through the family till the present day . The back bearing a brass Gordon Russell Broadway plaque .
