Each measures 4.5ins (11.5cms) diameter. Probably 19th century though possible late 18th century.

Long before nickel was isolated in the West, the Chinese produced an alloy of nickel and copper and a little zinc which has the lustrous sheen and colour tone of silver. It is slow to tarnish, wears well and was used in the 18th century to make candlesticks and some tableware.
