This stunning carved oak french bed is offered in very good condition.
The bed in the French arts and crafts style has been burnished and repolished.
The headboard has three reeded panels ,turned oak finials, a carved pediment and has two turned oak posts to each side.
The footboard has a carved. centre panel with reeded panels to either side,pierced carving and finials above the panels. There are two turned oak posts to mirror the headboard.
There are carved foliage to the side rails and to the footboard.
The bed stands on turned oak feet,.
We also have the matching bedside cabinets, dressing table and large triple armoire.
The bed will accommodate a standard double mattress 1900 mm long x 1400mm wide, it will also accept a bespoke mattress double length 1900mm x kingsize width 1500 mm.
The bed comes with a newly fitted set of substantial bed slats.
