French Antique Company has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
It dates from the early 1800s and originates from Normandy.
It has the most incredible hand carved detail to the crest, heavy oak doors and feet.

It also has its large original key, very long steel hinges and escutcheons.
The oak has a beautiful patina gained through years of polishing and waxing. It can however be professionally stripped to make it much lighter. Please see another one on the site to see what this would look like.

It breaks down into several pieces for transportation and can be easily reassembled.
Dimensions exclude the top crest piece. The width including the crest is 170cm and depth 62cm.
