An attractive and quality cast iron book press, with screw thread to the centre and with brass grips to the handle. The whole piece in excellent and full working condition, the paint with a lovely colour and patina, with honest wear, not abuse. A great piece for collectors or interior designers. A few ideas are that it would make a great letter/paper tray in a study, with the plate being A4 size. Alternatively would make a fantastic napkin holder in a kitchen or restaurant.
