Unusual 19th Century cast iron bust of Napoleon. Classic composition, bare headed, 'herm form' portrait version after Antoine-Denis Chaudet (1763-1810). Nicely modelled and finished, cast iron texture but smooth to the touch, probably German, possibly 'Berlin Iron'.
