Description

A rare 19th Century antique bronze and silver plated figurine group depicting a man holding his dying lover in arms on horseback raised on a green marble plinth base.

Measures

Height 17cm

Width 24cm

Depth 9cms

Condition

Good overall, the marble base is a later replacement of old marble, and a repair has been made to replace the studded bar and nut that hold the sculpture to the base, and a red baize has been added to the bottom.
