Description

Very beautiful and original late Regency 3 seat sofa in rosewood and beautifully carved.

Great proportions to the sofa and it stands very well. Certainly a very decorative sofa, but actually comfortable too which often isn't the case with these pieces.

The current upholstery, although not new, is in good condition and the seat which looks a bit lumpy is perfectly comfortable and is stable. If you were to keep this upholstery, the seat could be repaired by an upholsterer. Or, if you were to change the fabric, the seat pad can be looked at then too.

Great carving throughout the sofa and in good condition, cleaned and polished well.

Standing on its original castors too.
